


PTO Link™ Compact System– Replacement Spring-loaded Locking Pin
The PTO Link® Compact System - Tractor (Female) Coupler comes preinstalled with a Spring-loaded Locking Pin. This pin assembly engages with the Implement (Male) Coupler for the initial locking connection to prevent the two couplers from uncoupling.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACEMENT:
• Remove the installed Locking Pin housing from the tractor coupler with vise-grips or 5/8” open-end wrench. Heat may need to be applied to the Locking Pin’s housing and coupler threads for removal.
• Apply Loctite® Threadlocker Red 271TM to the threads of the Tractor Coupler and the Locking Pin to prevent backing out. • Wrench the replacement Locking Pin into the Tractor Coupler and torque it down.
• Wipe away excess LocLte® Threadlocker Red 271TM from the top and bopom of the Locking Pin.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Always install the stand-alone PTO Link® Compact - Safety Bolt after connecting the PTO Link® System Couplers.

Coupler Connection Tip – When using the tractor’s freewheeling PTO feature, rotate the tractor coupler clockwise. If only
the implement turns, rotate the implement coupler counterclockwise. If both the PTO and implement turn, both couplers
can be rotated simultaneously.
